Prefabricated compact substation designed for outdoor application with the advantages of compact size, flexible combination, reliable technology etc. The input primary voltage grade is 11kV into the incoming high voltage ring main unit, and the function of the compact substation is to transform the 11kV high voltage to be low voltage such as 415V or 380V.

The power capacity for the 11kV compact substation is normally designed below 2500kva, it depends on the capacity of the distribution transformer. The main components of the compact substation are high voltage RMU, low voltage Panel, and distribution transformer.
